Traditionally, the man is the one to propose marriage to a woman. This can be an extremely anxious time for a man as he tries to come up with wedding proposal ideas that will give his new bride memories to last a lifetime. Having that kind of stress and responsibility can get to a man as he tries to devise ways to propose marriage to the woman in his life. 

Of course, the best wedding proposal is one that gives his future wife something that she can remember for the rest of her life. For some men, they choose to propose using a big screen at a sporting event. However, this is been done a lot and really isn’t the most romantic way to propose marriage to someone. 

Another popular way to propose marriage is over dinner. In fact, some men use all of the scenarios they see on television where the man puts the ring inside of the piece of bread or something else on the table to surprise the woman. Aside from the possibility of her choking on it, this idea has also been done to death.

So how does a man come up with wedding proposal ideas that have not been done a million times? For one thing, he needs to think about the woman he is proposing to  and what her likes are. For instance, if she loves to hike, it might be a wonderful idea to take a long hike, have a picnic at sunset and propose right there under the stars. The key is finding something that will both be memorable and romantic for her to always think back on for the rest of her life.

For a woman who is very close to her family,  the man might even want to propose in front of all of her family and friends. Perhaps this is done at Christmas or at a birthday party. On the other hand, the woman might be a very private individual who would rather be proposed to right in front of the fireplace over a cup of hot chocolate. The idea is to make it unique, romantic and memorable for both people. The best wedding proposal ideas come from the heart.
